Lynchburg, VA - Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling shared his political story with hundreds of students Tuesday morning.

He spoke at the Liberty University's Vines Center for the Boys State program.

Bolling talked about how he served in local government and worked his way up to the executive branch. He also encouraged them to get involved in government and vote when they're old enough.

The students got to ask him a few questions. Bolling gave them advice on how to lead in political office.

"They want leaders to get things done and help create an environment that provides a better quality of life for them, and if we keep our focus on that all the other stuff will take care of itself," said Bolling.

Bolling also invited the boys to follow him on Facebook and Twitter. After that, he went on to Longwood to speak at Girls State.
