Lieutenant Governor and CSX are coming

Lt. Governor Boiling and a representative from CSX will be coming to the Beacon Theater in Hopewell on Aug. 15 at 2 p.m. They will deliver a grant check awarded to the Hopewell Downtown Partnership for a downtown improvement project. The project includes cleaning up problem areas downtown and safety initiatives while also adding recreational features in Downtown City Park. They will also talk about Hopewell's unique location, assets, and the importance of downtown revitalization. This will be a great momentum booster for the city as we look to draw in new businesses and create better PR for the City of Hopewell. The event is open to the public and we hope that you will come and show your support. Look forward to seeing you there.
