Bolling to be guest speaker at Gloucester Chamber event

The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual "Taste of Virginia" Dinner beginning with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Abingdon Ruritan Club building, Bena. Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling will be the guest speaker. As lieutenant governor, Bolling has served as Gov. Bob McDonnell's Chief Jobs Creation Officer and has overseen Virginia's economic development efforts and worked to create a more pro-business environment in the state, a release said. Previously, Bolling served on the Hanover County Board of Supervisors and as a member of the Virginia Senate. The event, sponsored in part by Dominion Virginia Power, is open to chamber members at $35 per person. For more information, call the chamber office at 693-2425.
