A terrific idea

To the editor:

I was pleased to see that Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling announced the establishment of the SouthernVirginia Regional Alliance.

I'm impressed at the level of commitment exhibited by Gov. Bob McDonnell and Bolling when it comes to encouraging growth and prosperity in our region of the state.

I can't think of any other administration that has committed the same amount of time or resources to help us help ourselves. This economic development alliance is a wonderful idea. We should give credit to the administration for proposing it. We should also give thanks for their positive leadership during these challenging times.
